There are a few major events for 360 cameras. NAB Show 2018 by the National Association of Broadcasters is one of them and for a limited time, you can get a free ticket!
In 2017, I attended several conventions. In retrospect, the ones I felt were the most important for 360 cameras were CES and NAB Show, with VRLA a distant third. NAB Show 2017 was the first NAB Show I attended and I wasn’t even planning to go at first, because I thought it would be mostly a boring industry event. To my delight, I found it was very interesting.
At NAB Show 2017, we saw the launch of the Yi 360 VR and Yi Halo, the first live demo of the Insta360 Pro and its stabilization, a preview of the Ricoh Theta V, a live demo of HypeVR’s volumetric video, and the launch of gimbals such as the Feiyu G360 and the Moza Guru 360 Air. I also got to meet several readers and 360 shooters such as Svend Even Haerra, Bill Strehl, and tech vlogger Steve Shew. I have no idea what I’ll find in NAB Show 2018 (April 7 to 12, 2018), but I do know that I will definitely be going.
The good news is that you can get a free ticket to NAB Show 2018! But only for a limited time. Just use the promo code COMEBACK to get a free Exhibits Pass. If you’re going, let me know — I would be glad to meetup!
