YouTube VR app now available

Daydream, Google’s premium mobile VR platform, is launching tomorrow but today (Nov. 10) and the YouTube VR app for Daydream has already become available for download from the Google Play store.

The app presents YouTube videos (360 or non-360) in a virtual theater environment.

The app is only for Daydream phones that have Android 7 installed (right now, Google Pixel is the only phone to have it).

For everyone else, you can watch YouTube videos in a virtual theater using Google Cardboard by using the YouTube app, tapping on the three dots on the upper right corner and tapping the Cardboard icon
