360 Camera News and Info 3D

Update on Hubblo, the most affordable 3D 360 camera with realtime stitching, plus a video editing contest to win a Hubblo camera!

Here are updates from Hubblo, the most affordable 4k 3D 360 camera with realtime stitching, showing a walkthrough demo, a sensor upgrade, and a video editing contest with the best odds you’ll ever find for winning a very nice camera!

Hubblo is a 3D 360 camera with 4k resolution, with realtime in-camera stitching and livestreaming capability.  I saw it at CES and it really did livestream 4k 3D 360 in realtime!

Hubblo has a crowdfunding campaign where it is available for $999 ($300 less than the $1299 MSRP).  That’s not chump change, of course, but at that price, it is the most affordable 4k 3D 360 camera with realtime stitching.  AFAIK, the next most affordable camera with such capabilities is the Insta360 Pro, which is $3,499.  This ease of use (besides livestreaming) is its key strength, in my opinion, compared to competing 3D 360 cameras.

Now, Hubblo has posted a new demo of how easy it is to use their camera:

Note that the demo video is in one take (i.e. no cuts, no re-takes), thus giving an accurate idea of how easy it really is to use.  For 3D 360 video, this is as fast and as easy as it gets.

Hubblo has posted samples that were detailed but had bluish white balance, which Hubblo has promised to fix.  In the meantime, they also announced that they are working on a better sensor with higher resolution and greater dynamic range:

Meanwhile, they are also running a video editing contest where you can win a Hubblo PX6!  It ends next week but as of now there are only four entries, so you have fantastic odds of winning this $1299 camera!
