Reminder: December 5 is the last day to get The Unspoken and VR Sports Challenge for free with your Oculus Touch

The Unspoken and VR Sports Challenge will only be given for Oculus Touch preorders.  Starting December 6, they will each be $30.

If you preorder the Oculus Touch motion controllers for the Oculus Rift from an authorized retailer (including Amazon and Best Buy), you will receive redemption codes for two games: The Unspoken, a spellcasting combat game, and VR Sports Challenge, a collection of sports minigames.  Oculus announced that although these games will be included with preorders as a promo offer, they won’t be free when Oculus Touch launches on December 6.  From that point, they will each be $30.

I haven’t tried VR Sports Challenge but it looks fun.  I have tried The Unspoken, and it really is one of the most fun games I’ve tried on any VR system I’ve had (Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Playstation VR, Samsung Gear VR, or Google Cardboard).  In addition to the Unspoken and VR Sports Challenge, there are several other software that you can get for free with Oculus Touch.
If you have doubts about Oculus Touch, you could order it, make sure not to open it, then wait for reviews to decide whether to return it or keep it (I will post a review as soon as I receive it). That way, you won’t miss out on the free software if you decide to get it.  Here it is on Amazon, which is still showing a December 6 release date.
