360 photos of Ukraine before and after the war

Here are 360 photos of Ukraine before and after the war began.

Nickolay Omelchenko of kyivmaps.com is a very experienced 360 photographer whose Google Street View photos have cumulatively earned over 450 million views.

When war broke out in Ukraine, Nickolay chose to stay in Kyiv.  He and his team have since taken 360 photos of the destruction from the war, providing the world with a stark view of the suffering that continues to be endured by the Ukrainians.

I searched Google Street View and found 360 photos of some of the same places Nickolay shot.  First, here is a photo by Cube Online Ukraine of an area in the Solomenstkiy District.

Here is what I believe may be the same area, shot by Nickolay, with hosting provided at no cost by GoThru.

Here is a 360 photo of an area in the Shevchenkivs’kyi district, shot by Google.

Here is the same area today, shot by Nickolay:

Here is another 360 photo of a neighborhood in the Obolonskiy district, shot by Google.

Here is the same building shot by Nickolay.
