really tempted to get a cheap 2016 gear 360… but i already have two of the 2017’s and love em. only wish the were directly supported by google street view like the 2016 model. sigh.
Yes it’s too bad they didn’t make it directly compatible. Maybe trying to save license fees? Idk. But the 2016 Gear 360 has a 30mp photo mode… just sayin 😉
Ugh, the Yi cameras are marked up 100-200% from what they sell for in China. I had a couple from when I was trying to build a Brahma 360 rig and the newer English editions of the Android app refuses to work because I have the “China” versions of the camera which only cost $60 each at the time. Just because they brought out an international edition afterward that was $200 each. That’s highway robbery.
The $60 versions were 4K not the originals? Even Chinese websites I’ve seen are not selling for $60…
