Here are the best deals for 360 cameras and accessories for Amazon Prime Day 2021.
360 Cameras
GoPro MAX ($399 regularly $499) is one of the best 360 cameras for outdoor or rugged use. It’s waterproof and has a lens protector that you can easily attach or remove. It also features a touchscreen and a no-stitch non-360 mode. It can also be used on the Cinebird invisible 360 drone.
Insta360 One X2 – $415 regularly $429 (Insta360 Store or Amazon). Insta360 One X2 is one of my favorite 360 cameras for all around use. It has more features than almost any other 360 camera and easily fits into my pocket. It’s the 360 camera I use most often.
Insta360 One R – $459 regularly $479 (Insta360 store or Amazon). Insta360 One R is the most versatile 360 camera. It can convert from a 360 camera to a 4K action cam or a 1-inch sensor camera. It also has the widest selection of invisible drone options among any 360 camera.
360 without stitching: Do you like the versatility of a 360 camera but don’t want to spend time reframing your videos? The truth is that your smartphone has far better image quality than almost any 360 camera. Why not take advantage of it with Pivo Starter Pack Red – $119 regularly $229, a motorized stand for your tripod that can track subjects automatically in 360 and can also enable your phone to capture and stitch 360 photos automatically, in addition to other effects. It’s useful for those times when you want 360 photos or 360 tracking capability but don’t want to edit or stitch your videos or photos. I will post a review soon.
360 camera accessories
2-in-1 Invisible Selfie Stick + Tripod ($22 regularly $25). This is the best pocketable selfie stick for 360 cameras. I love the built-in tripod, which opens automatically like an umbrella. And yes it is invisible to any 360 camera, including slim ones such as Insta360 One X2 and Ricoh Theta SC2.
Rode Wireless Microphone Invisible Cold Shoe ($15 regularly $20) – This is one of my favorite 360 camera accessories. Use it to make your Rode Wireless Go microphone invisible to your 360 camera. Works with Insta360 One X2, Insta360 One R (use the cold shoe upside down), and Qoocam 8K (also use it upside down).

Sandisk Extreme Micro SD 128GB ($19.89 regularly $23.49), 256GB ($35 regularly $45) and 512GB ($79 regularly $99). There are several micro SD cards on sale during Prime Day but there is only one I’ve seen that is definitely suitable for 5.7K 360 cameras: the Sandisk Extreme . In fact, whenever Insta360 sends me 360 cameras for testing, they include Sandisk Extreme Micro SD cards. They aren’t as fast as top of the line Sandisk Extreme Pro (around $26 for 128GB) but Extreme works well enough even for 5.7K videos. The only downside is when shooting at 3k 100fps, occasionally I get an indication on Insta360 cameras that they are not fast enough.
Super fast editing: If you want to edit 360 videos quickly, one of the things you can do is use fast storage. Sandisk 2TB SSD (new generation up to 1050 mbps) – now $279, regularly $459. or Sandisk 1TB SSD now $162, regularly $310 are great for video editing. They can also help make it faster to stitch and render videos.
