GoPro FX Reframe has been updated and now works with the Insta360 No-Stitch Plugin for Premiere and After Effects.
GoPro FX Reframe is the powerful yet free reframing effect for Adobe Premiere and After Effects. It was similar to GoPro VR Reframe, but added many new capabilities, especially the ability to change or negate lens distortion. Unfortunately, it had been incompatible with the Insta360 Plugin, which enabled users to edit Insta360 camera files directly into Premiere without having to stitch them beforehand.
Now, an updated version of GoPro FX Reframe has been released and it’s now fully compatible with Insta360 No-Stitch plugin. Download the latest version of GoPro FX Reframe here. After installing FX Reframe, launch Premiere. You’ll now be able to apply FX Reframe to Insta360 .insv 360 video and .insp 360 photo files.
That’s good news! It was a bummer for a while to have to introduce that extra step of compression before we could use the awesome GoPro FX Reframe.
GoPro FX Reframe plugin (even the new version 1.0.3.87) still has an issue with Adobe Premiere 2020 on Mac OS X – after saving the project with FX reframe effect enabled, and opening it again, I have a low-level exception message
I have the same issue, have you found a workaround yet?
So I couldn’t do that before? Didn’t know because it worked for me when I installed the plugins to Premiere from August 2019. I Added the .insv and then applied the reframe no problem. Proof: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbD-MSbv9UQ
Do you mean Gopro VR Reframe? GoPro VR reframe worked, but the new GoPro FX reframe was not working until recently.
