Should you get Insta360 One R or One X2?
One R and One X2 have similar lenses and sensors and both have touchscreens, both are waterproof*, both have microphone adapters for external microphones, and both have optional dive cases. The key difference is that One X2 is a 360 camera with a non-360 Wide mode, while One R is a modular 360 camera that can convert into a non-360 4K camera like GoPro, a 1-inch sensor camera, or an invisible 360 camera drone.
*One R must be used with its bracket to remain waterproof.
