Insta360 updated their app to 1.0.3 to fix the bugs in 1.0.2, but in my case, it was even worse.
Part of the reason I haven’t posted much the last couple of days is to help Insta360 debug their app.
When running Version 1.0.2 on my phone (Samsung S6 + Android 6), the live view would freeze after a couple of seconds of recording. It would continue recording, but only the same frozen picture. It would also sometimes crash. The solution was to roll back to 1.0.1 for now.
Insta360 released 1.0.3 to fix the bugs. I updated to 1.0.3 and experienced the same problems as 1.0.2. But now when I rolled back to 1.0.1 it has the same problems too. So now I can’t use my Air… :-((
Therefore I would suggest not updating to 1.0.3. But if you want to take the risk, be my guest. 🙂
Rest assured, Insta360 is working very hard to fix the problem.
Update: my 1.0.1 is working again! Whew. But no I don’t plan to update to 1.0.3 again.

one thing i do between app updates i use a app called app extractor that way i always have a way to fall back like in circumstances like this. 😉
