Jeanjacques Pouet discovered that Samsung phones can edit 360 photos easily — including fixing the nadir and adding text and images — but only if the photo is from a Samsung Gear 360 (2016 or 2017). The app he used is Samsung Gallery (where photos are stored). Here is Jean-Jacques’ tutorial.
Can’t find the settings on my s7 edge…. It has basic color correction and filters, but don’t have the nadir though
Hi Derek. it’s called “patch”
Thanks mic.
Found it, but only work for pics taken with the gear 360.
Patch won’t show up for pics taken by the Mi sphere cam.
One thing I noticed is that the thumbnail on gear 360 are 2:1 but mi thumbnail is two fisheyes.
Still investigating…..
may be wrong but those 360 editing features don’t seem to be available on s6 (just updated gallery) ??
a cool video tutorial tks for the reference
Thanks Adriana!
Hello. I have an S7 and updated to the latest Samsung Gallery app but do not have this “Patch” option under “edit”.
