VeeR added virtual tour features to its photo and video sharing platform.

Virtual tours are becoming even more popular among 360 camera shooters. Keeping with the trend, VeeR has announced new virtual tour features to be added to its 360 sharing platform.  VeeR’s virtual tours allow viewers to navigate to any other photo within the tour, called Scenes. Users will also be able to add hotspots, audio, images, and text.  The virtual tour editor will be browser-based, intuitive, and user-friendly.

VeeR will enable both the editing and hosting of the virtual tours in one place, and unlike most other virtual tour platforms, “[a]ll features are available at no cost.”   Another unique feature of VeeR is that by uploading your virtual tour to their site, it will be visible not only on browsers but across multiple platforms including Gear VR, Oculus, and Daydream through VeeR apps for the most popular VR systems.  This makes it easier for clients to view the virtual tours.  If you’d like to sign up for the beta you can do so here.  BTW, if you’re interested in virtual tours, check out the Virtual Tour Network group on Facebook, where you can share information and techniques about virtual tours.

Thanks to Pepe Vazquez for bringing this to my attention!

  • Hi, Mic. Thanks for the info.
Do you know if is there any option for making 360° VIDEO tours with hotspots, Youtube streaming alike and playable in ordinary web browsers (without the need to download a player). I’ve been trying to do it with Panotour Pro but 360° video stucks unless you drastically reduce its size.
