XPhase got an update that added GPS to Raw DNG exports!
XPhase (reviewed here) is the highest resolution 360 camera, with 25 lenses and a 200 megapixel capture resolution. It is the only 360 camera I’ve tested that has more detail than a panorama shot with a 24mp DSLR and any fisheye lens.
Another thing I like about it is that it gets frequent updates from its hardworking team. I haven’t tried the new update but as far as I know, the camera doesn’t have a GPS antenna. It will probably rely on the phone’s GPS signal and therefore you’ll need to take the photo with the app to get the GPS metadata.
Other improvements include improved stitching of the nadir, and adding EXIF data to JPG photos. The latest update also fixed some bugs. You can get the latest update here.
I would welcome XPhase made using 25 Samsung ISOCell 108Mpix sensors (used in latest Galaxy phone) – it would have huge resolution.
Where can I get the newest 2020 version of xphase pro s?
Hi Jaeho. This is the newest one bit.ly/buyxphase (it says “improved version”).
Thank you so much!
