I’ve posted Part 1 of my in-depth review video and comparison of the Ricoh Theta Z1. In this part, I discuss the Z1’s features for image quality and workflow. I also discuss how it compares to other popular 360 cameras, including the Insta360 One X, Ricoh Theta V, Xiaomi Mi Sphere, GoPro Fusion, Ultracker Aleta S2c, Panono and other 360 cameras.
To see 360 photos of the comparison shots and the crops, check out the main article.
Great review, I am considering an X Phase, should I change my mind?
Thanks Hani! Z1’s advantage is better stitching. XPhase’s advantage is DSLR-level resolution.
Hi Mic,
in the Z1 video you say, there is no visible difference between f/2.1 and f/5.6.
However, the chromatic aberrations seem to be visibly lower at f5.6.
Don´t you think so?
