Don’t let this one pass you by: Insta360’s New Extended Selfie Stick ($99) is an incredibly useful accessory for ANY consumer 360 camera (including Ricoh Theta, GoPro MAX, Qoocam 8K) and it’s back in stock!
I have used the Extended Selfie Stick extensively and I absolutely love it. With the Extended Selfie Stick, you can get interesting, drone-like shots. In this sample, I used the Extended Selfie Stick to take a shot over a rocky shore.
Besides being able to take unique shots, the new selfie stick is very convenient. It extends to 9.8 feet and collapses to just 14 inches to fit most backpacks.
It is made with high quality carbon fiber and unlike the original extended selfie stick, this version is much stiffer and more resistant to bending. This means you can hold it even horizontally with a 360 camera at the end and it will remain invisible. By comparison, the original version would bend so much that the stick would fall outside of the stitch line and become visible.
Because the new Extended Selfie Stick is so useful, it has been out of stock for the past several weeks but as of the time of this post, it is now back in stock, only at the Insta360 store.
