About 360Rumors.com

360 Rumors is the most comprehensive website about 360 cameras, with over 1,700+ news, reviews, and tutorials as of October 2017.    There are many sites that attempt to review 360 cameras but 360 cameras are quite different from conventional cameras, requiring specific expertise in them.  In addition to my experience as a photographer since 2007, I have been shooting 360 cameras exclusively since May 2015.   I am experienced in shooting 360 in all forms, including tiny planet, spherical, reframed 16:9 video, and 3D, and including both photos and videos.  Because of my experience, 360 Rumors is known for its trustworthy, detailed, hands-on reviews of cameras and accessories based on actual use in the field (not just armchair reviews).

About Mic Ty

About 360rumors

I’ve been a photographer since 2007 and have been reviewing cameras since 2009.  In May 2015, I began shooting with a 360camera.  I was so amazed that I sold almost all my other cameras to focus exclusively on 360 cameras.  After being disappointed with the lack of coverage of 360 cameras on camera and tech websites, I created 360Rumors.com in February 2016, to serve as a resource for the 360 community, and to educate the public about the benefits of 360 cameras.  As of 2020, I own over seventy 360 cameras and panoramic heads (see the list below) and have written over 2,700 articles on 360 cameras and VR.
