KEY FEATURES
1-inch sensor: The Mavic Air 2S has a large 1-inch sensor that appears similar to that of the Mavic 2 Pro. With the larger sensor, you can expect higher dynamic range, higher bit depth, and better low light sensitivity.
5.4K video: The Mavic Air 2S’s 5.4K video resolution is the highest resolution to be offered in the DJI Mavic line.
MasterShot: Air 2S can automatically take 10 different shots focused on your subject and automatically edit them into a video.
FocusTrack: the Air 2S has improved tracking capability with Spotlight 2.0, ActiveTrack 4.0, and Point of Interest 3.0.
Environmental Sensing: it has sensors above, below, forward and backward. The only direction where it does not have sensors is sideways.
ADS-B: The Air 2S features ADS-B to alert you of nearby aircraft. ADS-B will also notify other aircraft of other ADS-B equipped craft nearby.
Ocusync 3.0 and SmartController compatibility: the Air 2S has OS3, DJI’s most advanced transmission and is compatible with the SmartController.
DISADVANTAGES
4K cropping: The native video resolution is 5.4K and when shooting in 4K mode, the Air 2S video is cropped.
Lower photo resolution than Mavic Air 2: The Mavic Air 2 has a higher 48mp resolution while the Air 2S photo resolution is 20mp. However, the Mavic Air 2’s 48mp resolution is achieved through pixel binning, and the Air 2S’ larger sensor has a higher dynamic range.
Sounds nice, but what about side sensors and C classification for use in Europe?

To be honest, I don’t see what is so spectacular with it compared to the Mavic 2 Pro. A bit more resolution….but nothing else that seems to be ground breaking…
If it has support for motion controller that will enable it to take shots that you can’t easily get on a Mavic 2 Pro.
That bitrate, especially for 5.4K, is a little laughable.
Mic, what´s the “Screen size – 2 inches each” in your specs? Also the range appears on two lines. The correct one is 12/8.
Request: In future reviews please also mention how many minutes long can one video be recorded non stop and at which resolution.
