The most common question I get about invisible 360 camera drones is, “How do you land it without scratching the lens?” Here are 5 ways.

Invisible 360 camera drones capture 360 videos while at the same time being so slim that they appear invisible in the video.  Without the drone in the way, the 360 video can be reframed to any angle you want.

One problem with invisible 360 camera drones is that its lenses must be completely exposed and can be damaged even if you’re just landing.  A few drones such as the BetaFPV Pavo360 or the Shramko drone have a built-in retractable landing gear.  However, even landing gear cannot protect a lens from uneven surfaces with rocks or other objects.

Is there a safer way to land an invisible 360 camera drone without scratching the lens?  Absolutely.  Here are 5 ways — some methods are easier, while others are more convenient (in the sense of less stuff to bring).  I also show the way that I use most of the time.  I used the Newbeedrone Invisi360 but these techniques work with any invisible FPV drone.
