To be displayed properly, 360 videos (and photos) need to have 360 photosphere metadata. When editing 360 videos, especially in a non-360 app, the 360 metadata can be omitted or corrupted, making the edited 360 video not recognizable as such in a 360 player or app.
VRFix is an app that enables you to fix the 360 metadata on your mobile device. This facilitates sharing your 360 video without having to use a desktop app. It has been available for Android and is now available for iOS as well.
Hi Man!! Do you knok another app or way to Inject metadata on 360 video ON ANDROID?
Hi Didier. You can use these apps https://360rumors.com/360-photo-editing-workflow-tutorial-android-fix-horizon-add-gps-360-metadata/
Myself and several real estate agents in Karin Atkinson Carr’s YouTube4 Agents academy are all starting out of the box with brand new mispher and madv cameras and racing against COVID restrictions to produce 360 video walkthroughs for publishing on Youtube. I can find info about desktop metadat injection tool which looks like a pain. And this VrFix app. Everything I find about this is 2 years old. Can you tell me or make a video for our huge user group on the details TODAY of the best workflow, ideally for mobile, not desktop, to quickly get this done? My brand new camera is charging tonight and tomorrow the race is on to produce 360 videos to help my buyers and sellers before I am restricted from entering the homes. I would be ever so grateful. Don’t want to buy this product which has bad reviews if it’s not a good solution. Out of time to research any more black holes. many agents need this info right now. THanks so much if you can help Mic!
Thanks Tami. I’m working on a tutorial. Stay tuned.
