VR helps yacht builder reduce time and materials cost by 15%

Yacht builder Vripack is a proponent of VR, and has already used it to gain a competitive advantage.

By designing its yachts in VR, Vripack was able to avoid the need for mockups, prototypes and pre-fabrication. The result is a reduction of building time by up to 15 percent, and a comparable reduction in production costs. Vripack has also begun using VR for client presentations.
