Yes you can play Asgard’s Wrath 2 on Quest 2 or Quest Pro.  Here’s a code to get 25% discount!  But is it worth it?

Asgard’s Wrath 2 is an epic action adventure for Quest where you are a fledgling god on a quest to restore balance to the universe after being betrayed by Loki.  You’ll be aided by heroes and warriors as you battle against monsters and gods.  You don’t need to have played Asgard’s Wrath part 1 to understand the story.  AW2 does a good job of bringing you up to speed on the events of AW1 while still leaving out enough of the story so that you could still go back and finish Part 1 if you wanted.

I’m only at the beginning of Asgard’s Wrath 2 but so far, it is easily the best VR adventure game I’ve tried on the Quest.  First, obviously, are the impressive graphics.  It even looks better than some PCVR games I’ve tried, perhaps not for the detail in textures but for the art design.

Of course, graphics alone aren’t enough to make a game worth playing.  AW2’s gameplay is also excellent, with a good mix of combat and puzzle solving.  Wielding the weapons makes you feel powerful, yet the fighting isn’t so easy that it becomes boring (you can also adjust the difficulty).

The exploration and puzzle solving are also interesting.  Part of that is because of the level design, which has good variety.  I also like how you switch between the regular human perspective of hero mode and the towering perspective of god mode to solve puzzles.

Use god mode to help your hero solve puzzles

Although Asgard’s Wrath 2 was marketed as a launch app for Quest 3, it also works on Quest 2 or Quest Pro.  Asgard’s Wrath 2 is $59.99 or is free with Quest 3 until February 2024, or you can get it at 25% discount with my referral link.

  • I can strictly recommend Nomans Sky VR. Of course you need an proper PCVR Rig but it’s soo immersive and works great with Q3 and VD.
They improved it since 2016 and it is pure freedom. Explore Planets, several Pets companions to ride and fly! on them. Jetpack, Rovers, Spaceships, Warping, Diving Building…..
Additional Battery Packs for Quest strictly recommended 😁

    • No Man’s Sky has been getting huge, stunning updates for a long time – giant worms flying out of the ground, into the sky, and back, and many creatures look almost real. There are also many new story lines and things to find, it seems endless! Plus, it runs good if you get your settings good for your system.
