Insta360 cameras are becoming more popular among drone pilots. Here are excellent new cinematic sample videos from three cameras: the Insta360 One R, One X, and Go.
Here is a sample by Johnny FPV, shot on Insta360 One R Twin Edition 4K Wide Mod. The One R is a modular 360 camera that can convert to a 360 camera, an action cam, a 1-inch sensor camera, an invisible drone camera, or a VR180 camera.
Here’s a sample by Bobesh Oz, shot on Insta360 One X. By putting the One X on a short extension arm, it can capture an amazing stabilized third person view of the drone that would be impossible to capture on a regular action camera.
Here’s a beautiful video by filmmaker and drone pilot Bruno Sisti (Druno.it), who is also a member of Team Insta360. This video was shot on the Insta360 Go mounted on a Beta85X micro drone.
I asked Bruno what he thought about Insta360 Go and he replied, “Yes, yes . . . I like it in daylight it has a good [image] quality .. very close to the Gopro Hero 6 mounted with ease on any drone.” Here’s another sample by Bruno Sisti with impressive orbiting, also shot on Insta360 Go.
Because of the Insta360 Go’s amazing stabilization, the video looks completely level without a gimbal, even though drones must roll into the direction of the turn.
