The winners of the Epson Panoawards 2020 have been announced, and I’ve confirmed that at least one of the winning entries was shot with a 360 camera. In the VR/360 category, the top prize went to Oleg Goponyuk of Russia for his photo Split in the Cave, which was shot half above water and half below water. Mr. Goponyuk was also chosen as VR/360 photographer of the year.
Congratulations to all the winners, including my friend and 360 Rumors contributor Yuqing Guo who is a perennial winner of the Epson Panoawards and whose Lotus Blooming was among the top 20 images. Yuqing shot Lotus Blooming with the Kandao Qoocam 8K. Check out the Panoawards winners’ gallery here.
