Want to add new skills? Find out where the technology is going? Join us for an entertaining Saturday working with the RICOH THETA 360° camera. You’ll be able to eat good food while learning, and add to your resume.

We’ll be giving out prizes for Best Idea and Best Completed Plug-in! Prizes will include a free THETA V and a free underwater casing for the camera, too! (Approx $560 retail value)

What Will I Be Learning?

We’ll be covering RICOH THETA development, working with the Android development environment and completely customizing what the camera can do. You’ll join a team, use your choice of 1 of 13 code bases, and have a friendly competition to see what you can build!

Who Should Attend?

If you’re just curious about the tech, you’ll learn where it’s headed. For example, if you’re involved in photography or graphics and need to be paying attention to what’s possible and what’s coming soon, this is a great event to come to to understand future VR and camera trends.

If you’re in Android development, we’ll get into the details, and show you how to fully customize the camera. We can break through the software limits of the camera and take longer 4K 360° videos. Build on your Android skills and learn about AR/VR enterprise and industrial markets as well as user requirements, hardware features. You’ll get feedback directly from professional AR/VR content producers. It’s as easy as building an Android mobile phone app.
